Laxmi Poojary

Laxmi has been volunteering since 2014 when she ventured out to Ghana with a different organisation and helped build 2 classrooms at Maranatha School.

She has tirelessly worked alongside the Charity’s Founder Louise Barea to help build a better future for the children of Kewunor and Azizanya.

She has accompanied her in many trips to Ghana and even helped to set up a project in Kenya. She is extremely hard working, enthusiastic, well-educated passionate and easily integrates with the African culture. She is well known in the villages for being extremely patient and loving with all the children.

She has helped lead large projects in Ghana attended endless amounts of fundraising events and knows how to run projects efficiently and effectively.

She is loved and respected by all the community of Kewunor and Azizanya for her kind natured manner. An integral part of the charity.
